Seasons Round Platform

First release in Australia and a collaboration between Melbourne-based, Melissa of Honeybee Toys and Grapat creators, Casiana and Jordi.

Having watched many of their customers enjoy the Grapat Perpetual Calendar, Melissa dreamed up the concept for a platform on which the Calendar could sit.  This vision was built upon by the wonderful creative team of Casiana and Jordi of Grapat, and the Seasonal Platform was born.

A round platform that by its shape and presentation indicate a circular order that brings us closer to the passage of time, seasons over a year.  Complementing the perpetual calendar, children can easily and tangibly follow and engage with each month within a greater seasonal context.

Depicting the different seasons, the round platform features Grapat's exquisite artwork and symbols of the 4 Elements. Air for Spring; Fire for Summer; Earth for Autumn, Water for Winter.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The platform can be used in many ways:

-as an addition to the perpetual calendar adding the season's element to the calendar in line with the months of the year;

- as a base for learning about the seasons of the year at home ie. for nature/seasonal table where families can add memorable and special collections

-turn it over to use it as a natural play base or a blank canvas for building mandalas!
