Oobi is an ethically-run, Australian children’s fashion, homewares and lifestyle label for girls aged “brand new” to twelve. It’s beautiful and thoughtful range of garments are designed with fun, colour and movement in mind!
Created by textiles screen-printer and designer Alexandra Riggs in Sydney, Australia since 2002 - Oobi pieces are limited edition and are designed to make children feel and look amazing, and create a happy and magical world for all.
Oobi cottons are printed by artisans in Jaipur, India who utilise screen printing or rotary techniques and even vegetable dyes in some garments. This ensures the ’stamp’ of the hands that make the garment, and that artisan skills are kept alive. Oobi garments are lovingly made in India by a female-run family owned factory. Some 'vintage' or 'classic' pieces are made in China, again, by a women's collective and a factory 100% female-run and female-owned.
