OK! Dolls

Want to be a Scientist, Designer or Vet? OK!

Created by Aussie mum, Kimberly Baars, OK! Dolls are made for kids to play, explore and create stories with!

Play is an important aspect of learning for kids as it supports their growing identity and sense of place in the world.  By creating dolls that are aspirational and showcasing the women that shape our communities, OK! Dolls want to inspire kids to dream big through play.  They want to open up the career possibilities and pathways by introducing children to real-world professions and inspirations.

OK! Dolls are designed and lovingly handmade in Brisbane, Australia.  Each design starts with background research and interviews with women in the particular career -they want to ensure OK! Dolls showcase rather than stereotype professions. Once designed, doll illustrations are printed locally onto a super soft and thick fabric which is machine washable and fade proof.  Then, they are sewn and stuffed with squishy eco filling made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.  Each of these steps is done in Australia, supporting small businesses.

The small dolls are 30cm long and 7- 12cm in width. Each doll has slightly different dimensions depending on the illustration and layout.

OK! Dolls are machine washable in cold water! Wash it separately the first time and you can use up to 1/2 tablespoon of napisan. Spot cleaning can be done. Please check on a small area if you are planning to use a cleaning agent.

Recommended for 3 years+ The dolls have no loose or moving parts however dolls have a black ribbon tag at the side so anyone younger than this will need to be supervised when playing.  It is recommended for these toys to not be left in a cot or bassinet with a sleeping baby.
